Booking a consultation
Three ways to reach our scheduling team:
- Online form — Send a brief inquiry via our consultation request form. We reply within one business day.
- Phone — Call our main line at +82 2 543 0089 during clinic hours.
- Walk-in — Walk-in consultations are accepted subject to clinician availability; appointment-based visits take priority.
What to bring on your first visit
- National Health Insurance card (for Korean residents)
- Photo ID
- Any prior sleep-related test reports or specialist notes (helpful but not required)
- A list of current medications and supplements
- Names and rough dates of prior surgeries, if any
- For pediatric visits: the child's growth chart and recent school behavior notes, if available
What the first consultation looks like
Plan for 30 to 45 minutes. The first appointment is conversational — we will ask about your sleep history, daytime symptoms, medical background, and lifestyle factors. We will decide together whether to proceed to a polysomnogram, a trial of treatment, or a return appointment to discuss alternatives.
Payment & insurance
Korean residents: Polysomnography for diagnosed sleep apnea evaluation is partially covered under the Korean National Health Insurance program. Coverage and out-of-pocket cost are confirmed before any study is scheduled.
International patients: We accept self-pay in KRW and provide English-language documentation suitable for overseas insurance reimbursement.
Detailed cost estimates are provided after the first consultation — never before the clinical picture is understood.
Pediatric visits
For children, a parent or guardian must be present. We recommend booking the first appointment without the child (a "parent-only" consultation), so the family can speak freely about concerns before involving the child in the conversation.
Cancellation & rescheduling
Please give at least 24 hours' notice for outpatient appointments. For in-lab sleep studies, please give 48 hours' notice — the equipment, room, and overnight technician are reserved exclusively for your study.
Telehealth & remote consultations
We offer remote (video) consultations for international patients and for follow-up reviews. Initial diagnostic visits and sleep studies require an in-person component.
The first consultation is for listening. A sleep study is recommended only when the clinical picture warrants it — and if it does not, we will say so. — Seoul Sleep Center practice principle
